On the left is our front door (the previous dweller liked cute drawings), in the center are our grocery/shopping bags (we use them often) and jackets and on the right are our stairs leading to the upper rooms . . . you can't tell, but it's quite the climb.

This park is just a 3-4 minute stroll from our place. It's a nice contrast from the bustling streets.

Permanent 'art in the park'. In case you can't tell, that's a huge brightly speckled bunny with an inner tube body. We have heard that Rotterdam is a playground for the artistic . . . .
This park also homes some impressive wildlife. And frog is the catch of the day.
We enjoyed this view of a street near ours so you may too. Up close the brick work looks beautiful.
And here, ladies and gentlemen, is our street! Complete with a street sign that after much practice I can pronounce. Can you?
And we have gone full circle -- here is the outside view of our front door. It will take a few more days to master the key turning technique required but it is still 'home sweet home'.
